When buying a new or new-to-you vehicle, be sure to test out all the buttons, knobs and levers. Some questions to consider as you check out the vehicle:
- How easy is it to twist, turn, pull or pinch?
- Can you live with the degree of difficulty?
- How often will you need to be using that particular function?
- Will you be the sole driver? In which case, some features may not often need adjusting, hence making it less important.
It may be a good time to do a test-drive when you are experiencing a flare-up. When you're feeling well, it may be too easy to ignore the extra oomph you need to move the seat or the pinch that's required to change the height of the head rest.
Is there something you struggle with in your current vehicle?
