On this first day of December, make time to get outside, if only for five minutes. Suspend your worries, put aside your to-do list and your not-enough-time troubles. Simply breathe. Notice how you feel.
- Do this while you spend time in nature:
- Exhale slowly.
- Pause before you inhale.
- Inhale slowly.
- Pause before you exhale.
- Repeat.
See if you can lengthen the pauses. This unhitches you from those stress-producing negative thoughts and feelings.

Thanks, Beth.
NDD – nature deficit disorder. Hard to understand why there is so much of that going around when it is such an easy fix.
I do all that every morning!
That doesn’t surprise me, Ramana.
