#472 – Hollywood Calling

I have a not-so-secret yearning to do some acting, which is very strange, considering that it was an absolute disaster the last time I appeared on the stage (in Grade 10). Perhaps this is an indication that I'm ready to apply stress techniques to release my inner actor - but that's for another post on another day on Auntie Stress Café.

I was recently expertly interviewed by Lori Newman, a Staff Writer for the Hollywood-based Lifescript. It's likely this is the closest I'll ever come to Hollywood. Stranger things have happened though, so I'm keeping the door open.

On Reduce Your Stress from Rheumatoid Arthritis, I share some of my RA strategies which are augmented with comments from Dr. Judith Orloff (Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA), Dr. Michael Miller (Director at the Center for Preventive Cardiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center) and Dr. Nathan Wei (Director of the Arthritis Treatment Center in Frederick, Md).

One of the tips I suggest in the interview is to learn to laugh. To help get you started, make your way over to my Mirthful Monday posts. This is where I post things that tickles my funny bone and hopefully yours, as well.
