#437 – The times, they are a’ changin’

And so is the frequency of this blog.

It gives me a great deal of satisfaction to know that I fulfilled my commitment to post daily for one whole year. That was 365 days of sharing with the world those little tips that are so much of my world. I learned a lot about myself in the process and I learned a lot about blogging on a strict regime. I was both sad and relieved when the year rounded on itself and the blogging circle came to a close.

That was one of the reasons I set out on another 100-post mission. I missed the daily interactions with my words and with my readers. I'd like to thank Healthline.com and Lene and everyone else who issued a challenge of taking this blog further than I imagined going. However, rather than adding a full year, I felt that a full hundred would be plenty.

Now I'm realizing that it's not the number of posts, but the content and the raison d'être that I love and why I started in the first place. Which is why I've decided to give myself some breathing space and you some reading space between posts. Look for future posts two or three times per week, as I settle into a new routine of exploring new content.

See you some time this week!

    1. Thanks, Lene. There’s a few other things that I need to work on, and since I’m not super-woman *gasp!*, I need to change what I’m doing.

  1. You certainly have had a grueling schedule of posting. I am finding my 2x per week is all I can comfortably handle. I like to read it over for a few days before it’s posted so that I can edit.

You must have been working ahead also. Hope the new schedule gives you less stress. You are the first to say “Undress your stress”. Does your stress wear only a dress or does it have many layers like the smart players in strip poker?
I need to get my husband to work on stress. Even retired he finds many stressors (like politics haha. No surprise there).

    1. The secret is out…I do have a method. I am generally not stressed about finding topics, nor writing, editing them. Blog posts often find me, as opposed to me finding them. Have you noticed that, Annette?

It’s my schedule that has changed; hence the need for less ART. 🙂

As to your last comment, you have won a wonderful device that can and does make a huge difference to young and old, alike. Here’s the thing. It needs to be used. 🙂

  2. Gee, you did another 100 already? Such a pleasure reading them I lost count.

Keep up the great tips! A couple of times a week is fine. You have done way better than me keeping to a schedule!

  3. Good for you on practicing what you preach… when your priorities/schedule shifts and you need to make changes in order to be living a balanced life, you make some adjustments so that your workload is not overloading 🙂 Thank you for serving as such a positive and inspiring role model! Onwards and upwards 🙂
