#379 – Tea(se) Your Taste Buds + a Giveaway

I was prowling the house; I wanted chocolate or at least something sweet. NOW!

The cupboards were purposely bereft of such tempting treats. I knew that I had to tempt my taste buds with something. What, though?

Then, I remembered my pickle trick; but I wasn't in the mood for pickles.

I did say I was on the prowl, didn't I? Well, I opened my herbal & decaffeinated tea tin and there it was - the perfect thing to distract me from my cravings.

Decaffeinated Chai Spice by Stash Tea. It has enough flavour to excite my taste buds and at the same time, kill the craving for something sweet. Thanks to Nancy for introducing this tea to me!

Now, here's the fun part. I wrote to Stash Tea to see if they could tea(se) your taste buds. They have generously agreed to giveaway one Chai Tea sampler pack with a variety of Chai Teas!

  1. Oops; I just realized that was awfully similar to S. Emerson’s comment. How about this: Tea is a calming influence.

  2. Tea is my favourite way to de-stress and relax after a long and busy day of work.

It doesn’t start with “Tea Is…”, but I would also say:

“Snuggling on the couch with a rottweiler and a warm cup of tea is my favourite way to de-stress and relax after a long and busy day of work.”

  3. Tea is green, light, clean. Sipped between sushi shared with good friends.
Tea is steeped sophistication served in elegant fine bone china. Cordial murmurs and a raised pinkie, please.
Tea is Trek-trendy. Earl Grey. Hot. Make it so.

  4. Tea is essential at our house. My hubby teases me because we likely could survive without another tea purchase for six months! We love our tea here! And we love having a variety of teas available to us. Oh, and Stash makes some pretty darned awesome Chai Teas, by the way!

  5. Tea is a comforting hug when no one is around to give you one. I’ve had some truly miserable days where none of my friends or my partner were around and I was out of chocolate, but tea has always been there. It fills you with warmth and peace and calmness with the first sip and those feelings continue as you continue to drink your cup. It’s makes the bad days a little less bad.

  6. Tea is the perfect drink after coming in from the cold, and before going out in the cold (and my, it is cold here right now!). Tea is a staple in my pantry, tucked into my briefcase, and toted around in my purse. Tea is the drink I turn to when I am taking some thinking time, when I invite someone into my home, and sometimes I also give it away (last weekend, my sister and I wrapped 150 tea bags in pretty little envelopes with quotes on them as a giveaway for a women’s event called New Year New You!).

  7. TEA is calming, warming, comforting, healthy and just the BEST drink available after plain clean clear water!!!
