During a flare-up, energy is at an all-time low while pain is at an all-time high. This is the time when you activate those previously formulated energy and time conservation tips.
When you're moving about from room to room, make each trip count by avoiding unnecessary to and fro'ing. Plan what needs to go where. You may want to use a small basket or a walker to transport items from one area to another. Put a stopper in the energy drain.
Use the same formula when you have to run errands outside of your home.
Among other things, a chronic illness is a good time management teacher. I've learned to use my time and energy efficiently and effectively.
