On Pearls of Wisdom and a Pearl Anniversary, I introduced you to Annette. In one of her posts she shared her garage sale find.
This fabulous juicer happens to be one of my garage sale finds. It's true - they don't make them like they used to. This is one great little juicer that takes the strain out of juicing all of my favourite citrus fruits. If you press down a second time, it even changes direction! It doesn't take up a lot of room, either.
Garage sales are a great place to find a just-so item, one that is better built or a discontinued product that you just love. Over the years, I've been pretty fortunate in finding just what I need and I rarely frequent garage sales.
I use one exactly like this except that it has a larger base vessel. Very handy to have.
Ramana, out of curiosity, do you remember when you bought yours?
Three years ago when my father insisted on freshly squeezed orange juice every day for breakfast. His way of exercising control over me! Shall send you a phtotograph by mail.
Ramana, is your father physically capable of squeezing his own juice?
