Decades ago, when my flare-ups never seemed to end, I replaced my dishes with light-weight ones. I liked the simplicity and weight of white Corelle dishes.
This past Easter, I was helping a family member do the dishes. She owns a set of beautifully-hued stoneware dishes, reminiscent of the Caribbean.
By the end of the dish-washing marathon, it was remarkable how much of a difference the weight made to me.
It also made me thankful for being practical and acknowledging that the difference is often in the small things, especially when it comes to P.C. Thinking.
