#253 – Modular Learning

I've been toying with the idea of enrolling in a Master's program. However, I just can't face a year-long or even a half-year long course.

I wonder if there are any university programs that are broken down into modules. This would allow the student to learn at their own pace, taking each module as his/her body cooperates.

Life-long learning shouldn't be a marathon. For someone living with a chronic disease, it becomes an ultra-marathon.

For more on this subject, please read Kathryn's guest post entitled Accepting Help: Advocacy at the University Level.

If you're familiar with any university offering this type of program, please let me know!

  1. Been there, done that. I once did a course from the University of Waterloo; they were kind enough to allow me more time to complete it.
