Lycra. Nylon. Striped. Print. Solids. Cross-Back. U-Back. Bra. Shelf-Bra. Two-Piece. As my aquatic years float by, I've had more than a gym bag full of suits.
This morning as I jumped - yes, jumped into my suit! - I realized how easy it was to put on my new BeanSport® Tank, courtesy of L.L.Bean.
A U-Back with Shelf-Bra is what suits me best. (Pun intended!) For appendages that are ravaged by the destructive forces of rheumatoid arthritis, the U-Back doesn't require the twisting and wiggling, gripping and pulling that is de rigeur with some of the other models.

I loved the swimbadds in Germany. They had several different pools so I could find one with warmer water so my muscles didn’t tense up so much. And the kids loved all the fun fountains.
My favorite Swimming Hole is in Central Oregon at a resort called Kah-Nee-Tah. It is a huge Olympic sized pool heated by natural hot springs. It is glorious. I have been going there since I was little. THe warm water, bright sun and incredible blue sky – I could just live in the water all day… sigh… Wish I was there right now…
OH my! As you know if you have read my blog swimming is my lifeline…I swim 2-3 times per week and I go through suits very fast….I swim at a local indoor facility but when we travel it is always a must that a pool be part of the plan for where we stay….I have not ever had an LL Bean suit but it sounds wonderful…I tend to get mine on Amazon and usually I get a Speedo or Ocean suit. I love the idea of the U back and with my shoulders lately that would be amazing….fingers crossed! Nan
My favourite swimming spot is Port Franks, Ontario. I love to swim in the still waters at sunset–so breath taking!
The outdoor pools and spas in a ski resort like Breckenridge or Steamboat.
My favourite swimming spot is a beach about 15 mintues away from my house. It has beautiful sunsets too!

A lonely spot, quite alone, the temperature just so…not too hot, not too cold…the temptation of toes tasting grains of sand, the lure of the wave, the beckoning sparkle of the sun on the smooth surface.
I love the watering hole up at our summer place in the Muskokas! It is beautiful and rustic and even comes complete with a family or two of beavers!
My favorite swimming spot is a local beach! Its great to get out in the waves!

Love, Love, Love the suit Marianna!!! I am going to get another soon as I use them for my swim workouts 3 times a week and it is nice to have a couple to use. The quality of the suit is wonderful and it very comfortable for working out in the water – laps, water jogging, strength training…it is all good another hit L.L. Bean!
