#200 – Need to Know

When you're scheduled for surgery, all the risks and complications are explained in great detail.

This alone can be a frightening experience, adding more stress to an already stressful situation.

One of the many things I do is to recognize that if I need the surgery, I need the surgery. It is scheduled to make my life better, and it does.

  1. Marianna,

I think your positive and optimistic approach is defnitely the way to go….Worrying and fearing a highly unlikely event would not be of any help whatsoever.

I can’t wait till your surgery is behind you and you are able to back on your feet as active as ever (but feeling so much more like yourself) !

    1. I’m actually doing quite well, Dorlee. That’s why the revision surgery for the hip came as such a surprise. I appreciate your care and concern. Thanks!
