All my joints were behaving
My walk was a joy
Neither sharp twinges nor tweaks
Appeared to annoy
A light mist gently caressed
While we stepped lively
Oh! The sights! The sounds! The smells!
I'm feeling blithely!
Despite not wanting to go on my dog walk yesterday, once I got to the park, I quite enjoyed myself. It's a rare day when all my joints are "quiet", so we were able to pick up the pace. Perhaps the steady barometric pressure reading had something to do with it. As you can see from the screen shot from The Weather Network, the barometric pressure was fairly constant.
On Forecasting, a post I wrote in 2009, I talk about how I can often feel a rapid shift in barometric pressure. Do you notice it?
My ninety-one year old friend, who has an acute interest in health and well-being, once presented me with the following excerpt:
"Atmospheric pressure decreases a day or two before it rains. The joint has to adjust to the atmospheric pressure. An arthritic joint trying to adjust will cause pain or discomfort. In the same way, your arthritic knee or back may become more inflamed when you fly on an airplane, because of the change in cabin pressure."
Unfortunately, I don't have the source. What are your thoughts?

A poet, I am not, but I wanted to give it a shot.
That’s one of the biggest changes for me since starting my “stress undressing”. More in the moment moments.
My walks used to be heavily-weighted with “I should have said/done . . .” or “How could I . . . ?” E.x.h.a.u.s.t.i.n.g!
