It may be an indication that I've turned another chapter in the book that is my life! What do you think?
If I'm only getting a few items at the store, I now bring one of these - pictured - with me.
I don't have to strain my hands with the shopping basket, nor do I have to do it again when I carry the bags out of the store.
Sometimes, I don't want to go through all the hoopla of finding a cart, struggling to unlock it from the others (not easy with arthritic hands) and then repeating the process when I'm done shopping.
Update: I've decided to name my portable shopping cart "Jimmy" after Captain James Cook, a man who managed to travel extensively.
