In India, at least in the area where I live, it is customary that when neighbours borrow kitchen utensils from each other they should return it with some sweets or something nice cooked at home. I always thought it is a very good idea.
Gaelikaa, It’s a lovely gesture, isn’t it?
Made extra-special when you get something you don’t normally make.
I like to do that too; it is rarely returned that way but I prefer to give than to receive anyway. :O)
Frankly, I depair Marianna. It is this one reason that I am glad that my son has not so far produced an offspring. I don’t think that if I had a grand child she will enjoy living on this earth as it is likely to be then.
Ramana, If everyone would think this way, our world would be in far better shape.
