Day 28

There's something about the juxtaposition of brawn and beauty, strength and grace, seriousness and humour that you see whenever you look at clips from The Battle of the Blades.

To see hockey players playfully yet seriously take to the ice in a format that is so different from their regular puck-chasing gig brings a smile to my face. Credit goes to their partners who patiently put up with missteps, slip-ups and the occasional curse, as they work together to create a praise-worthy production.
